The strategy of a specialist

The strategy developed by the group is based on 4 priority axes:

  • wine-making per se: all of the steps in the wine-making process, from the vine to the glass, from the maturity of the grapes to conservation, are mastered. To serve this strategy, we have put in place three teams of oenologists with highly specialised skills profiles. Thanks to this organisation, the wines from our wineries are awarded medals every year;
  • the partnership with the wine-producing cellars and producers assures a constantly improving level of quality and irreproachable traceability;
  • logistics through the provision of incomparable service thanks to the geographical position of the subsidiaries: Les Grands Chais de France in Petersbach, at the heart of Europe, and Les caves de Landiras, close to the port of Bordeaux, which represents a top-class wine-producing maritime centre;
  • marketing through the creation of products and strategies tailored to the expectations of consumers from all over the world. This expertise has been recognised through numerous distinctions and awards received over the years.

A diversified, multi-site group

The activity of the GCF group, a key player in France and abroad, is deployed in the:

  • making,
  • development,
  • production,
  • and marketing of products in the spirits and vine-growing and wine-producing sector.

An extremely large range of products is offered

It covers virtually all of the appellations in the world of French wine and spirits, along with New World wines.

The GCF Group: an example of success

  • The GCF Group has developed its activity thanks to dynamic marketing.
  • This approach is based on the usual components of the marketing mix: packaging, segmentation, promotion and quality of the offering, with a carefully decided positioning.
  • The end purpose of the GCF Group’s investments is to develop a range of products that meets consumer demand.

J.P. Chenet is the best example of this: the best-selling brand of French wine in the world!
